About Us.
Motorcycletouring.ie was started by myself Michael Ganly following the success since 2004 of the tours I organised through my sister company wines2order.com .Following many years of travelling to visit vineyards in France and Spain on my bike researching vineyards for my wine importing company wines2order.com I was encouraged to bring other motorcyclists to visit and experience the scenery and food and wines . In 2007 on behalf of BMW Ireland I led their tour group to the Motorad event in Garmish ( Bavaria)
My background in motorcycling is that in 2001 I returned to motorcycling following a number of years away ( about 20 !) . I undertook some training on my return and completed a number of courses up to the advanced Rospa training where I achieved a Rospa Gold and followed on to complete the Rospa Diploma in Advanced Motorcycle Training. I am now a senior motorcycle instructor with Motorcycle Safety Associates Ltd and and approved examiner for AON/AXA and Quinn Direct .
We are the only Motorcycle Touring company operating from Ireland.If travelling from the UK or elsewhere you can meet up with us at the ferryport in France or Spain.Our main aim to to help motorcyclists achieve their goal of touring Europe on and adventure that once experienced you will want to repeat year after year. Numbers on our tours are limited .
